The communities we serve in Liberia face daily challenges most of us never have to think about — clean water, a safe place to sleep, a quiet space to read. H.E.A.L., Inc. is working to change that, one project at a time.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Liberia faces a severe infrastructure crisis, with little to no access to clean water, electricity, or sanitation. Most children in our care rely on unsafe creeks or hand pumps, and lack restrooms, forcing them to use the bush — spreading preventable illness. Your support can fund a hand pump for safe water, or a restroom for a sanitary, dignified place to go.
Orphanage Renovation
Many of our orphanages are aging structures, worn down by time and overcrowding. A safe, sturdy home is the foundation every child needs. Your support can fund structural repairs, upgraded plumbing and electrical systems, and safe living spaces — turning a worn building back into a true home.
Reading Rooms
Education opens doors, but many of our children have never had a quiet space to read or dream. Your support can fund a dedicated reading space, complete with books, shelving, and seating.
Together, these projects meet our children's most basic needs — clean water, a safe home, a space to learn — so they can move beyond surviving, and start to thrive.
