The lack of adequate resources and education for the underprivileged and deprived communities in Liberia have led to a devastating effect to these communities.
Did you know that the combined 14 year civil war (1989 to 1997 and 1999 to 2003) devastated the school system and the livelihood of majority of people in Liberia? As a result, a staggering 51% of primary and secondary school-age children, majority of whom are girls, were left without a school to attend?
As of today, about one in every six adults in Liberia is illiterate, and 95% of students in Liberia have never seen nor used a computer; don’t have books or materials for school; don’t have adequate restroom or clean drinking water.
H.E.A.L. Inc. programs' objective is to be the bridge to help close the gap by providing services in communities that have inadequate or no resources essential for learning and living a decent life.

Where We Are Going
Our goal is to increase community awareness, cultivate partnerships that help increase available resources to allow us to continue our work to help educate and assist orphans and underprivilege children in Liberia, West Africa and also make an impact in our adopted city of Atlanta, Georgia and its metro area.
We know that for us to make an impact in the lives of these children, we must take a holistic approach that will meet their basic needs as well as prepare them to become better and productive individuals in their communities. To accomplish our goal, we adopted the Liberian Christian (Jubilee) Orphanage located in Careysburg, Liberia, West Africa, a home to twenty-three (23) orphans, and we also partner with over 20 orphanages in the country providing different services including but not limited to Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH), healthcare, campus renovation, education, and the provision of basic needs. These initiatives have impacted over 2000 beneficiaries. See below for our completed, Current and future initiatives!!!
In 2019, we initiated a flagship program called Youth Pathway to Success. A workshop that brings middle and high school students in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area to learn about four (4) strategic areas that will help them lead a successful life.

H.E.A.L. Inc. vision as we provide these services, is to empower these children to become productive and successful individuals who will positively contribute to their communities. Research has revealed that high school dropouts are three and one-half times more likely than high school graduates to be arrested, and over eight times more likely to be in jail or prison. They also make three time less than a high school graduate. Rigorous research has established the strong link between high school graduation and reduced crime. For these reasons it is H.E.A.L. Inc.'s commitment to make sure that all of the children it engages get the opportunity to be self-reliant and become better leaders in their communities.
Our long term goal is to make sure that any child that we sponsor must complete high school, become efficient in a trade, and then become successful entrepreneurs. We will have post high school mentorship and assist with enrolling and sponsorship to vocational schools.
We intend to accomplish this feat by partnering with public and private organizations, and those of higher learning to introduce our children to vocational skills such as:
